Free Crochet and Knitted Slipper Patterns for Adults

Free Knitted Slipper Patterns for Adults

When it comes to cozy slippers, sometimes you just have to put the children second 🙂

You can make knitted slippers for kids, including the famous Mary Jane Slippers we’ve featured a couple of times, but that doesn’t help that poor cold crafter who is trying to make her way across the hardwood floor to her very own craft chair to knit another gift for someone, does it?

With that in mind, we’ve found some great free knitted slipper patterns for adults – for the crafter his- or herself! The red ones in the photo gallery below are Drop’s “Little Red Riding Slippers.” The grey / blue and tan ones are Talking Crochet’s “Blue Tweeds,” and the pink ones are “Sweet Spirited” (again by Drops). Take a quick look at the materials required for the Little Red knitted slipper pattern, and it will pretty much apply to the other patterns as well, so you can see if you have everything you need.

Materials:
300 g for all sizes
Double pointed needles and straight needles, size 6 mm / US 10 – or size needed to get 13 sts x 17 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm / 4” x 4”
6 buttons
