White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte

White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte

One of my most cherished Autumn experiences that I look forward to every year is indulging in the world of pumpkin spice. This year, I decided to bring home the flavour and create my own White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte beverage. My scrumptious latte recipe is creamy, sweet, and spiced all in one. You want to make sure you make it with great quality coffee. You could consider a coffee subscription service, so you always have coffee beans in the house. It makes a perfect addition to any cold morning or meal, and can even be served on its own as a dessert.

Perhaps the best aspect of this recipe is that you can adjust it based on what you’re seeking in the moment. You can increase or decrease the chocolate, change the type you use (such as to milk chocolate or dark chocolate), and add any spice you desire, such as nutmeg or cinnamon. It is an incredible recipe and I have fallen completely in love with it. After my first taste, it was added to my “favourites” section in my home cook book. It’s just that good.

Ingredients:

-1 c. Milk (I used 2% and it made a deliciously creamy latte)
-1/2 c. Strong Brewed Coffee (you can use decaf or tea, too)
-1 tbsp. White Chocolate Chips
-1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
-1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
-1/4 tsp Vanilla
-A dash of cinnamon (or a cinnamon stick)
-A few extra chocolate chips for garnish
-Whip Cream

In a small sauce pan, warm the milk, coffee, white chocolate chips, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. I used medium heat, and lowered it before it started to boil. Consistently stir your mixture so it doesn’t curdle or burn. When everything is melted together and well blended, turn off the heat and stir in your vanilla. Pour your latte into cups, and top with whip cream. Use cinnamon and some chocolate chips as garnish. Enjoy!
