White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte

White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte

One of my most cherished Autumn experiences that I look forward to every year is indulging in the world of pumpkin spice. This year, I decided to bring home the flavour and create my own White Chocolate Pumpkin Spiced Latte beverage. My scrumptious latte recipe is creamy, sweet, and spiced all in one. It makes a perfect addition to any cold morning or meal, and can even be served on its own as a dessert.

Perhaps the best aspect of this recipe is that you can adjust it based on what you’re seeking in the moment. You can increase or decrease the chocolate, change the type you use (such as to milk chocolate or dark chocolate), and add any spice you desire, such as nutmeg or cinnamon. It is an incredible recipe and I have fallen completely in love with it. After my first taste, it was added to my “favourites” section in my home cook book. It’s just that good.

Ingredients:

-1 c. Milk (I used 2% and it made a deliciously creamy latte)
-1/2 c. Strong Brewed Coffee (you can use decaf or tea, too)
-1 tbsp. White Chocolate Chips
-1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
-1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
-1/4 tsp Vanilla
-A dash of cinnamon (or a cinnamon stick)
-A few extra chocolate chips for garnish
-Whip Cream

In a small sauce pan, warm the milk, coffee, white chocolate chips, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. I used medium heat, and lowered it before it started to boil. Consistently stir your mixture so it doesn’t curdle or burn. When everything is melted together and well blended, turn off the heat and stir in your vanilla. Pour your latte into cups, and top with whip cream. Use cinnamon and some chocolate chips as garnish. Enjoy!

I always get really excited when I find knee highs. There’s something about long socks that makes me feel fancier — and they keep you warmer, especially if they’re under jeans. Cold jeans are the worst. It has been more difficult to find thick, comfy knee highs of late, but I discovered the other day […]

I’ve been intimidated by clothing patterns for a long time. I’m better at smaller projects, like scarves, hats, or purses. But I’ve always wanted to try making my own sweater. Snuggling into a warm piece of clothing you made yourself sounds divine. Searching through Pinterest, I managed to find several shrug type sweaters for crocheters […]

You’ll Tank Us For This Cute Kerchief Top Find I’m not typically a summer person. I prefer autumn, when I can bundle up in a sweater and enjoy wearing accessories like beanies, scarves, and gloves. However, over the years I’ve added to the list of what I like about summer. While I dislike the heat, […]

What is it about capes that makes everything feel more mysterious and magical? I’ve always loved capes, ever since I was a tiny kid growing up in the wild woods of Tennessee. As I grew up I wondered why more people didn’t take advantage of these cozy better-than-coats options. A friend of mine made me […]

If you live anywhere near cold weather, you know the unpleasant feeling of slipping into a cold seat. No matter how many layers you have on, your back gets chilly, your legs get clammy, and your whole body tenses at the cold. Little children may not realize how cold they are, but the rest of […]
