Sesame Street Crochet Patterns

Sesame Street Crochet Patterns

Of all the shows that are still popular with kids to this day, the one that most adults – parents and grandparents too – can remember from their own childhood is a little show about a little street named Sesame. Everyone has their favorite characters, but most people enjoy all the characters in their own way, and the mix of accessible puppets combined with kind and helpful adult people gives kids a familiar and helpful TV-world environment to learn and develop new ideas.

So it shouldn’t be surprising we noticed this set of crochet sesame street character patterns by a crocheter named Sahrit. Most of the character patterns go separately, but Cookie Monster and Elmo, I guess because their look is so similar (check out the picture), go together.

These are made with yarn and fiberfill. How about this idea? Add a rattle inside the head of the crochet character! It already is shaped a lot like a rattle, and we know young kids are entertained by the noise!

These patterns sell for around $5 for a single character and $7 for the Cookie Monster and Elmo set. They’re available on Sahrit’s page here.
